Sean Nye

Sean Nye is a PhD student in Comparative Studies in Discourse and Society at the University of Minnestoa, Twin Cities. He has previously published on the Berlin history of the Love Parade for Echo: A Music-Centered Journal.

Ronald Hitzler, Technical University, Dortmund

Professor Ronald Hitlzer is chair of sociology at the Technical University Dortmund (Germany). His research specializes in youth scenes and cultures, and he is co-editor of a special volume on the German techno scene: "Techno-Soziologie: Erkundungen einer Jugendkultur."
